The Christian version is written from inside the mind of a believer in Christ. Characters pray together, are convicted about unloving attitudes, grow
in respect for others, make things right with their family and friends, and
express their gratitude for God's sovereignty, love, and provision. There is
a clear presentation of the Gospel in several of the stories. Also included
are artistic graphics of appropriate Bible verses.
The general version includes the same story lines, character lessons, and
illustrations. Many stories are exactly the same as the Christian version or
vary by a word here and there or a sentence or two. In the general version,
however, characters help, encourage, and forgive one another rather than pray
together. Also, there is no mention of God, the Bible, prayer, or Scripture.
Some stories must be very different in the two versions, as you can see in the
excerpts of WOR and EAR below.
